Volume Discounts

Volume discounts are assessed based on the total previous year's purchases. The discount is assessed each year and shows on invoices as a separate line item. To qualify for discounts, payment must be made within terms.

Last year's purchases = This year's discount

$5000 - $15,000 = 2%

$15,001 - $30,000 = 4%

$30,001 - $50,000 = 6%

$50,001 - $75,000 = 8%

$75,001 and above = 10%

Choosing Plant Materials

You can personally select plants from the field to suit your specific needs. A fee may be associated with tagging. Field appointments are required; please call to schedule your appointment.

We will also have a substantial inventory of "dug and ready to go" material during the summer and fall.

Size Ratings

The sizes that appear in the descriptions of plant material are given primarily for comparison. Actual ultimate heights and spreads will vary with conditions. The sizes given are for the "average" urban tree at thirty years of age.

Wholesale Conditions of Sale and Terms

Wholesale prices are available to firms that purchase stock for resale or landscape installations (nurseries, garden centers, and landscape contractors). Proof of wholesale status must be on file in our office or shown when ordering or retail prices will be charged.

Prices in our print and online catalog cancel all previous prices and are subject to change without notice. Availability of stock is subject to prior sale.

Prices are FOB Prospect. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Customers qualifying upon application may open Eisler Nurseries, Inc. charge accounts. Our terms are net 15 days.

All accounts over 30 days are charged 1 1/2% interest per month (18% per year). Upon ordering, we require a 30% deposit on material that is to be dug from the field. Customers without established credit must pay the balance upon pick-up or delivery.

Sales Tax

Orders for plant material picked-up or delivered in PA are subject to a 6% PA Sales Tax, unless the purchaser furnishes an exemption certificate.

Out-of-state orders picked up by a commercial trucking company are exempt from PA Sales Tax.

Field Materials for Pick-up Orders

To assure safe transit of nursery stock, please bring your own covers, tie-downs, and blocking; otherwise, we will charge for them if used. All trees 2" through 8" caliper will be spade dug with our curved blade spades and put in Braun premium baskets. Only natural burlap and twine will be used.

Cancellation of an order of container or B & B material will result in a 5% restocking fee. Cancellation of field-dug stock will result in loss of deposit.

Delivery

Our trucks make deliveries locally and throughout the East Coast and Midwest for larger orders. We can arrange shipping for you. Delivery charges will be quoted when you place your order.

Guarantees

All plants are guaranteed true in name and in healthy condition when they leave our nursery. We give no guarantee, expressed or implied, regarding delivery, survival, description, productivity, growth, suitability to use, or any other aspect of any of our plant material. We accept no responsibility for guarantees our customers state or imply to their clients at the time of resale.

Eisler Nurseries, Inc. will not be responsible for plant material that is not picked up within ten days after notification of completion. Additional care after ten days is offered at a minimal charge upon request.
